The Best Face Masks

When it comes to skincare, I’m constantly trying out new
serums and creams, etc., using them religiously every morning and night,
waiting for results that may or may not eventually come. It’s more fun than I’m
leading on- I promise!
But there are definitely – or should I say frequently—times
when I need a quick skin fix. Like, ASAP. Enter my favorite skincare discovery
(and downright obsession), the mask. Every.
Kind. Of. Mask. My goal is to try as many as possible. Heck, at this very
moment as I write, I am wearing a mask. I love them. Masks can offer pretty
immediate results and if you don’t believe me, try one out for yourself!
Because I have tried out an unholy number already – and
narrowed top favorites – I thought I would share the wealth and information
with you lovelies.  So, here it is: my
favorite masks categorized by skin issue.

For Hydration + More

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal- The fact that
it’s sold out at Sephora speaks to this amazing product. Although it looks
interesting on your face in the mirror, this mask calms and hydrates the skin
leaving a radiant glow.
SKII Facial Treatment Mask– SKII does not make a bad
product. This brand is everything! Although a tad pricey, the mask is genius
and totally worth the money.
Skin Inc Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask– Although I’m not a
huge fan of masks calling for more 20 minutes (sorry, I’m impatient!), this one
is worth it. Not only does this mask win in the low scare factor section (it’s
clear) it hydrates and gives a dewy glow.
Arcona Wine Hydrating Mask– I’ve loved Arcona masks (all of
them) for years now but I swear by this particular gem. Skin is instantly
hydrated and smooth, I highly recommend adding to your regular regime!

For Breakouts
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Purifying Mask – When
you have a breakout just cake on this mask and you’re good. While the zits
aren’t completely gone after the first try, they are definitely reduced in
redness and size.
Glam Glow Super Mud– I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
Glam Glow is the ultimate breakout rescue! Use as a spot treatment or all over
the face.
Herbivore Blue Clay Mask– This mask is for spot treatment of
breakouts. You just add water to create a paste with the product and place on
problem areas only. When my breakouts are extra intense, I’ll do a spot
treatment twice a day.

 For Brightening + Radiance

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Clay Mask – Much like everything else
in the CT line, this product is genius. The mask literally gives you baby soft
skin and definite radiance.
Murad Intensive C Radiant Peel – Peels are great for
radiance – be sure to pick a product for your skin type. I love this peel
because it brightens my freckles that come up on my forehead at times.
Mario Badescu Whitening Mask– All of the masks by Mario
Badescu are exquisite. One of my personal favorites is the Whitening – I do
notice my skin brightened after one use.

Anti-Aging
Lush Ayesha Mask– This mask is great and so fresh that it
has to be picked up in store and only lasts 2 weeks. But it’s worth it!

Peter Thomas Roth Extreme Detoxifying Hydrator Cucumber GelMask– I received this calming gel mask as a sampler and fell in love. When my
skin is freaking out or red, this mask soothes and hydrates.

Pjs: Marigot Collection also available via Bloomingdales
Try out a set!

If you are looking to try different masks and can narrow
down a brand you like, buy a set or add to your Christmas list. Sets are a
great way to get a sampler of the brand’s best.

  1. Been dying to try out the oatmeal mask! Your skin always looks amazing, I'll definitely have to give it a try now. Glamglow and Caudalie are a few of my favourite as well.
