A Grey & Plaid Day

I always say you can’t go wrong with an all grey palette in your look. Nothing screams, “I’m modern and just put this outfit together on a whim and didn’t try hard at all” like grey. I don’t know about you, but I strive for an effortless look. Don’t we all? Try picking different shades and patterns in the same color family. It’s a chic and not to mention slimming take on an ongoing trend.

I love the grey on grey plus a pop of a pattern in the (surprise) same color! Nothing says chic like a streamlined color palette. And check out my new kicks! I love them. 🙂

I wore this outfit last week in LA when I headed over to one of my best friends and soul sisters house, Jana Williams. She also happens to be an amazing photographer (who shot my wedding, too) and it’s always such a huge pleasure and (quite frankly) honor to work with her in any way. We decided to shoot what I wore over to drink wine at her house (we also skyped with her adorable and southern niece and nephew!) It was all around a great way to end this LA trip. Love you, Jana!

  15. Very beautiful photos. Grey is always a good idea, it's probably my favorite colour as it's not as dark as black but still very neutral and also easy to combine 🙂
