The summer brings out my bohemian side. With the crazy temps rising in both TX and LA, I inevitably wear less. I wear less makeup, less amounts of clothes (hellooo bathing suits), less clunky shoes and heels. And I wear more flowing than tight pieces. This is how things work in my book. So what is my go to piece to keep the boho vibe this summer? Girl, get yourself a maxi dress. Here’s why..

Despite the fact that I am tall, I’m all about maxi dresses and skirts. I actually prefer wearing flats with a maxi, so the fact that I’m tall doesn’t stop me. Flats look just as great with maxis! I know us tall girls have trouble finding maxi dresses long enough for heels. I suggest looking to see if any fabric can be let out at your tailor, or simply pair the dress with flats. Your feet will thank you! If you’re a shorty, don’t forget the tailor is your best friend or get a great pair of wedges. You’ll be taller and comfortable.  Anyone can rock a maxi dress!
