It Feels Good To Be Home

Although I had a blast in Hawaii last week (re-cap post to come this week– I promise), it feels good to be back in my apartment, well rested after the weekend. That flight along with the time difference really kicked my butt! I did a whole lot of nothing after I got back on Saturday. Sometimes you just have to do nothing. Can I get get an Amen? 
Anywho, while I’m in the process of Spring cleaning and organizing my life, I thought I would share a few things that make me smile.

Fresh blooms! I picked up these gorgeous flowers at Whole Foods over the weekend. So I guess I did soooomething. Aren’t they a fab color of pink? The smells coming from this little arrangement are heavenly, too. #holla
My new rug. If you have been following my instagram, you’d know about this bad boy. Words can’t really describe how obsessed I am with this rug from Lulu & Georgia. I originally thought it would be too colorful and pink, but it definitely feels more neutral (in my book) in person. So it will be easy to transition from Me to Me + Chandler. Trying to keep those things in mind lately! 🙂

I loaded up on magazines this past weekend and spent some time flipping through — something I rarely stop to do. I even picked up an issue of Cooking Light. And you’ll freak, but I also went one step further with my inspiration. I made the yummy dish on the cover! The creamy and light pasta totally hit the spot and didn’t put me in the dog house with calories. I’ve got a wedding to prepare for, people! I’m going to make a few other recipes from this magazine, so I’ll let you know how they turn out. 🙂
This bowl from Anthropologie makes popcorn really fun to eat. And I know, I know… I need to stop drinking Diet Coke! #ItsHard
