I’m Engaged!!!

Well, if you haven’t heard via my instagram… I’m engaged! I was completely shocked when Chandler proposed this weekend on the top of Runyon Canyon in LA. I just could not believe it! Of course I wanted to share the great news with you guys and share the story of how we got engaged. I’ve even got a little video!

It started out like any other Runyon hike. We were going the hard way (I was dying) which I always hate the idea of but always glad I did after the fact. Once we were close to the top of the mountain, Chandler told me he wanted someone to take a picture of us withe sweet view in the background. Naturally, I wasn’t opposed. We met a really cool guy on the way up who Chandler then asked to take the picture. I’m mid pose and he drops down to one knee! I could not believe it. As you can hear me say several times in the video! We were so lucky to have Garrain capture the moment (he was just as shocked!). I cannot wait to start planning everything! Don’t worry, I’ll be adding that part of my life to my blog and taking you guys along with me on the journey. 

Chandler is truly the person God put on this earth for me and I could not be happier! Thanks so much for all the congrats and love. We love you guys!

  48. OMG too funny! Just found you on BlogLovin'…I love your reaction, I would be the same way. My husband and I got married within a week of him "asking" so we didn't have all this surprise stuff. He surprised me on my 30th bday this past April {married 5 yrs now} as a way to make up for the proposal {and diamond ring} I never had with a reproposal on the beach where we married, but this time like 20 of our friends to watch. I was shocked and embarassed, but so happy. Congrats to you two!
